This name was originally coined by a fellow service mate whom I met during my national service days. It has since grown on me and gradually become an identity—both as the youngest in camp and the youngest in my family. I have used this name for my Instagram handle and it has stayed with me throughout the years. No prize for the right answer, that’s right — Chai is my family name.
